![]() Well, the unfortunate thing is that the Ultimate Collection ONLY runs on Windows. (Now you might be wondering why you don't just contact Origin right now, get the Ultimate Collection, and install it on your Mac as is. (You might face resistance, but just be persistent, and offer to show a picture of your game collection/etc) If you have a copy of the Base Game's CD, once you download Origin on your Windows partition, you can contact Origin's online support and they can gift you the Ultimate Collection. Luckily for you, you have the Sims 2 CDs. What I wound up doing is uninstalling the Super Collection on my Mac to make more room, and moved a bunch of extra stuff to my EXT HD.and then installed the partition. Windows itself takes up a bit of space, and the Ultimate Collection is ~12 GB. The first time, I allocated like 45 GB.and it wasn't enough. So, as you run the utility, it'll ask you to allocate space on your HD for Windows. Change the folder name back to The Sims 4.an you transfer Sims 2 to another computer. Transferring Sims 2 Files Navigate to the folder where the Sims 2 game files are stored on your new computer. They’re in the same location as on your old computer, under My Documents and EA Games. Paste the backed-up files into the EA Games folder on your new computer. Right click on The Sims 2 and select Copy. So, basically, what you do is run Boot Camp Assistant (it comes already installed on your Mac), and you essentially install Windows on your computer. Navigate to your C:\Users\\Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Neighborhoods folder. :( The only thing you can do is set up a partition with bootcamp. ![]()
